The cottage has been sympathetically renovated to keep a lot of character. The quality of finish & attention to detail is outstanding. We are planning a return trip soon.

Fantastic location and beautifully appointed inside. I loved the area and especially the Maypole! I ended up making a few friends in there. I will definitely be back.

We had a lovely Christmas break at Mandy’s cottage. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Our dog absolutely loved the field straight outside the house! Sam, Lee, Matilda & Daphne x

Honestly, you won’t find a better place in Halifax to stay. The cottage is gorgeous, full of character but also modern and clean – and the town is so peaceful around it. Mandy went out of her way to help us out as we were between house moves and she was the perfect host. I’m sad to go really, but thanks for everything Mandy!

We have a beautiful stay at Rory Cottage. The house was immaculate with comfy beds and the comfiest sofa I’ve ever sat on. The parking listed as ‘in the village’ is much closer than I thought it would be – it is literally a one minute walk away. Thanks Mandy for a lovely stay.

We had the loveliest stay at Rory Cottage. Although the pictures looked nice, I felt it was even nicer in person. So many thoughtful touches, too many to list! It was spotless and the attention to detail was topic of conversation for the weekend with my partner and I. Great communication and lots of helpful info in a folder at the property too. The house was a perfect combination of the cosy, charming cottage with modern touches to make the stay super comfortable.

Rory Cottage is very comfortable and located in a peaceful part of Warley Town, with a great view over the valley. Brand new and spacious bathroom/shower, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and lounge area, fast WiFi. The suggestions for local restaurants and activities were helpful. Highly recommended as a base to explore the area!

Rory cottage has been refurbished beautifully. Mandy has great attention to detail with lots of amenities being thought of for guests. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage has the best of modern and traditional finishing. Mandy communicated really quickly with any questions. Would highly recommend.
